This was very touching and struck a chord with me. It is true that the mundane little annoyances so often take over our lives when, in fact, if only we were more ‘present’ in our children’s lives, we would see great things happen. It’s amazing what love and hugs and kisses can accomplish.

Whenever I happen to flip to a channel playing an old western I’ll stop and watch for a minute or the whole movie and remember sitting with my grandfather in his living room. Those are good memories and this little thing keeps them alive.
